ALL ABOUT SARAH LILLIE ROSE

As a creative, I've always had a keen eye for detail in Art, Costume and Film which sparked my passion from a young age.

After finishing high school, I went on to West Nottinghamshire College to study Fashion with Textiles. This course fueled my creative passion more and made me realise costume making was where my future lies.

I studied at the University of Huddersfield and graduated in 2019 with a degree in Costume with Textiles.

I then spent the next years working in the Film and Theatre industry as Wardrobe Assistant, Wardrobe Mistress, Costume Trainee, Costume Maker, Costume Assistant and Costume Designer.

Alongside working in Film and Theatre, I also run Sarah Lillie Bespoke as a side hustle, taking on commissions for costume and clothing from various clients. I've made commissions nationally and internationally and also for distinguished companies.

Previously, I've worked among 3 different Bridal stores, fitting and altering dresses for clients. Plus working for an established Tailoring company, therefore my skills to alter and make formal wear are elite. My skillset can range from breaking down modern clothing for film to fully designing, pattern drafting and making historically accurate costumes and formal attire.

I am a passionate and trustworthy individual, who is always looking for challenging opportunities to improve my skillset and continuous education inculcating moral and ethical values, attitude of helping and positive thinking.

It's important to me that each job I take, every director I work with and every client that chooses me recieves my full potential, thorough respect and communication and that every detail no matter how big or small is always done well.

I've chosen this career because I just simply love it.

I want to create Art, I want to work with likeminded individuals and I want to make every person I meet feel like the best versions of themselves. The benefits about choosing me are that 'No' is never an answer, anything can be achieved in regards to a specific element for your film or you've decided you would like sleeves on your strapless dress or you have this crazy idea that you need my help to bring to life!
